Error with copyright symbol

I am able to stamp my file and when I put in a © symbol, it puts a funky character in front of it: ©

no matter if i put it at the beginning, or put text before it, the extra character shows up.

How can we get rid of it?

Actually it’s only when i manually stamp a file. I see it does not put it on the ebook at all.

Any way to add a © to the automatic stamp?

Use the “UTF-8” font from the settings menu of the PDF stamper and give it a try.
