Tagged: Affiliate platform, Multisites
Hello,
I installed affiliate platform on a subdomain of my multi wordpress, as http://www.example.com/mysite/
And there is an error that appears on the setting page of the plugin when i clic update option:
The URL specified in the “POST URL for Commission Awarding” field does not seem to be a valid URL! Please check this value again:
http://www.example.com/wp-content/mysite/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/api/post.php
The URL specified in the “POST URL for Remote Click Tracking” field does not seem to be a valid URL! Please check this value again:
http://www.example.com/wp-content/mysite/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/api/remote-click-track.php
The platform seems to work, but I wonder if it will not be a problem. Mostly because I plan to then use the plugin WordPress MU Domain Mapping to have a domain name dedicated to all my subsites.
What do you think of this?
Thank you, I’m a fan of your work!
If you know that the URL is correct then you can ignore that error message (it will not harm your site). It is just checking to see if the URL values that you entered is correct to prevent any typos). Something on your server is blocking the method used to perform the URL validation check. Which is why it is showing that error. Your users won’t see that error (it is only for the admin).
