I’m using the “Product Variation 1” field to generate the dropdown list seen under “Purchase Recordings” at http://www.interfaceboulder.org/donatepay/. Here is what I’ve entered:
Program|9/19/12 – Gourgouris – Mormon Mythbusters!::http://www.interfaceboulder.org/wp-content/uploads/audio/abcd.mp3|10/17/12 – Roth – The Interfaith Adventure::http://www.interfaceboulder.org/wp-content/uploads/audio/efgh.mp3|11/21/12 – Interface Community Dialogue|12/19/12 – Glustrom – Weary and Worried Souls and Our Clean Energy Future|1/16/13 – Roberts – Waking Up Together / The Year I Didn’t Die|2/20/13 – Weber – Life Choices|3/20/13 – Alakananda – Making Peace in the Family|4/17/13 – Whitehead & Edin – It Actually Does Take a Village to End Poverty|5/15/13 – Templeton – Owning Our Own “Shit”|6/19/13 – Lavino – Forgiveness|7/17/13 – Hamilton – Goodness to Go
Also, my Variation Addition Symbol is “now available”. This is perfect, because I only want “now available” to display in the dropdown if an mp3 url has been entered into the “Product Variation 1” field. Only one problem: when I try to add one of the “now available” items to cart, I get a popup error:
Error! Variation addition amounts are not numeric. Please contact the admin and mention this error.
I click OK, the popup closes, and the item still gets added to the cart. But the alert is annoying. How can I disable this? And if I do, will this modification remain when I update the WP eStore plugin?
Thanks!
Your variation configuration looks wrong. You seem to be doing digital variation. That needs to be entered in the “Digital Product Variation” field (not variation 1). Please see the documentation for details on how to use digital product variation:
