Hello,
I’m using this the affiliate plugin with W3 Total Cache and i get this error when I activate the plugin. I first saw it when I saved the settings for the first time.
Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home2/tbguitar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_config_class.php on line 8
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /home2/tbguitar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_config_class.php: in /home2/tbguitar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_platform1.php on line 8
I don’t know if it matters but I am using version 3.0.1 of wordpress, not sure if that matters…
Thanks for you help,
Tom
October 13, 2011 at 1:28 am #37537adminKeymasterI just made some changes to the plugin that I think should solve this error you are getting on your site. Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s). The specific update instruction for the plugin in question can be accessed from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/plugin-installation-and-upgrade-instructions

October 14, 2011 at 1:37 am #37539crystalsilverMemberI just purchased and downloaded a suite of your plugins (Store, Member, Affiliate, Stamper, Lightbox, etc) a couple days ago. So, I should have the most current versions. I also have WP Total Cache activated in my installation. I activated eStore first, and my tests seemed to work out fine. Then I tried to activate eMember. I got a whole list of errors similar to GuitarGuy above. So, I deactivated it. Then I activated Affiliate. Same thing:
Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/crystalsilver/silvernet/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_config_class.php on line 8
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /home/crystalsilver/silvernet/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_config_class.php: in /home/crystalsilver/silvernet/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_platform1.php on line 8
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/crystalsilver/silvernet/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_config_class.php: in /home/crystalsilver/silvernet/wp-includes/functions.php on line 861

In order to give you the errors on eMember, I’ll have to reactivate it again. But I haven’t really done anything yet with either of these plugins, and I just installed a brand-new download two days ago, so I shouldn’t be having any errors. I’m testing this on a clean installation of WP (current version), and I don’t have any third-party plugins installed or activated besides WP Total Cache and WP Responder.
Once this is straightened out, I’m also wondering how difficult it would be to hook your plugin suite to WP Responder rather than MailChimp or AWeber or GetResponse.
Do you know why I am getting the errors? I have only added one test newsletter list in WP Responder, and I’ve configured some settings in WP eStore, but other than that, these are all clean installs.
Thanks!
October 14, 2011 at 1:38 am #37540crystalsilverMemberForgot to mention that I have already added the cookie exceptions in WP Total Cache to accommodate your plugins.
October 14, 2011 at 4:02 am #37541adminKeymasterSome sites were having issue with the new configuration class with added so we posted another build. Please do what I suggested in the 2nd post of this thread and let me know if you can activate the affiliate and the eMember plugins after you get a new build now.
October 14, 2011 at 5:42 pm #37542crystalsilverMemberOK. Downloading all updates now. Will let you know if there are still any problems after upgrading. Thanks!
December 4, 2011 at 5:38 pm #37543cjlopezMemberWhen trying to activate WP PDF Stamper, I get the following Fatal Error. Any Ideas?
Site error: the file /home/cjlopez/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/wp_pdf_stamp1.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.
December 4, 2011 at 5:43 pm #37544cjlopezMemberand I did follow the above download instructions for the update. still getting the same issue.
December 4, 2011 at 6:56 pm #37545wzpModeratorDo you have the IonCube loader installed? There is a minimum requirement checker plugin for the PDF stamper which can be accessed from the minimum requirement section on the sales page of this plugin:
December 10, 2011 at 2:44 am #37546jeffschmidtMemberI get a similar error as above and have tried the above solution. I’ve requested the upgrade, deleted the original file I just bought and reinstalled the fresh build. Same problem. I have 2 sites and tried it on both. The first one is in the root folder and the second site is a subdirectory.

December 10, 2011 at 7:16 am #37547adminKeymasterPHP session on your site is not working fully. Please contact your hosting provider to fix the PHP session issue on this server and the error will disappear. This post has more info on this:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/php-session-not-working-correctly
December 11, 2011 at 6:17 am #37548jeffschmidtMemberThanks that worked and I already did my set up.
But I now have a new problem with the layout of my site since it was activated. Check out my site [www.doggonesauce.com] and you will see how the background picture has shifted and on some pages the content in the body is overlapping into the right widget area.
I know enough to get into the files. I copied the style css files from the original theme download and replaced them on the host server file manager.
Please check out my site and let me know how to fix the layout. Jeff
December 11, 2011 at 11:54 am #37549PeterMemberHi,
I don’t see the problems you describe above on your site.
Which page(s)?
December 11, 2011 at 2:11 pm #37550jeffschmidtMemberI just looked at it on another computer, and it looks fine. Must be my Internet Explorer. Thanks
The affiliate plug in is easy to set up and looks great Thanks
