Error message at Checkout

Hi – I have just finished adding 3 items t my webpage and did a test puchase.

When I clicked on the Checkout/payment button – it took me to a page with this message…

“The seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through un-encrypted buttons. Please contact your seller for more details.”

Any ideas?

In your paypal profile you have encrypted payments turned on. Please turn it off and it will work fine. Here is how you can turn it off:

1. Log into your PayPal account.

2. Click the ‘Profile’ subtab

3. Click on the ‘Website Payment Preferences’ link in the ‘Selling Preferences’ column

4. In the section titled ‘Encrypted Website Payments’ select ‘Off’

5. Save it.
