Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP Lightbox Ultimate › ERROR html5: Unsupported video format. Try installing Adobe Flash.
Hi, I purchased WP Lightbox Ultimate and I’m trying to stream secure videos with Amazon CloudFront.
I followed instructions at http://lightbox.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-content/uploads/lightbox-ult-doc/wp-lightbox-ultimate-amazon-cloudfront-video-integration.pdf
In Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome I get the following error: html5: Unsupported video format. Try installing Adobe Flash.
How can I solve the problem?
Are you trying to play a .flv video file? Flash is no longer supported on many web browsers, and Adobe plans to discontinue support for flash video in 2020.

No, I’m trying to play a .MP4 file…
@lucafu, Please provide a link to the page where you have the shortcode so we can take a look.
Ok, this is the test page: [http://esteticacientifica.com/prueba]
I’m using this shortcode: [wp_lightbox_ultimate_amazon_s3_cloudfront video=”video2.mp4″ domain=”MY CLOUDFRONT DOMAIN NAME” width=”500″ height=”320″ title=”title goes here” direct_embed=”1″]
Of course in the real shortcode the MY CLOUDFRONT DOMAIN NAME is the real name in the CloudFront console.
It works with:
1. Firefox (Windows 10)
2. Internet Explorer (Windows 10)
It doesn’t work with:
1. Chrome (Windows 10)
2. Edge (Windows 10)
3. Firefox mobile (Android)
4. Chrome mobile (Android)
Thanks. I see a JavaScript setup error on that page. Do you have the Enable Amazon S3 Video Display option checked in the general settings (Settings > WP Lightbox > General Settings)?
Yes, the Enable Amazon S3 Video Display option is checked and AWS Access Key ID + AWS Secret Access Key are right
Thanks. The error is still there. There is also a JavaScript error from your Divi theme. So we will need to take a closer look at your site to investigate this issue. I have sent an email to your registered email address for site access. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
