I’ve uploaded thru the media library option w copy and pasting the url in
uploaded into the root of the website
uploaded into wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/source-files/
none of the locations work despite being viewable directly from the web.
this IS a wordpress multisite network. so the plug in is installed from the network admin panel for multisite access but was “activated” from the dashboard of the subsite and activated w/o a problem.
I’ve also changed file permissions to 775 on all the plugins and their sub directories.
not sure what else i can do except for take this site off the multisite network and start from scratch
I switched this site off the multisite, and onto its own separate installation. i just need to have my license key reset or updated to the proper non multisite domain. old key:
[redacted]
i just bought another key bc i need to use the plugin asap….. now i get
An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes)
in increased the memory from 64M to 256 in php.ini and verified w the hosting provider that its all setup fine, they think there is a limit in the script code itself, can you confirm?
im trying to stamp a 10.5mg pdf
smaller files stamp no prob
The plugin has no file size limit (there are customers out there that are stamping PDF files as big as 140MB in size using this plugin).
You can also verify this by searching for this error that you are getting in Google:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of XXXXX bytes exhausted (tried to allocate YY bytes)
You will see that this error means that the server is out of memory so the PHP application is failing to complete the job. Server’s memory refers to the RAM Memory (not the hard disk space which I am sure you have plenty). This is where a lot of hosting company gets you… they don’t tell you how much RAM memory you have available to your PHP applications such as WordPress.
