MemberHi,
I am receiving the following message after purchasing a digital download. Can anyone help me please. The file is a .EPUB file. I can down load the same file if it is a PDF. How can I download a .EPUB file without getting the error message below.
The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request. Please contact the site administrator.
Please tell the site administrator the problem was due to the following reason:
The file (on the server) containing your download couldn’t be opened.

ModeratorLet’s try to get some more debug information.
Under the eStore settings, please enable the debug logging, and then try a test download. Then, check the download_manager_debug.log file for what the specific problems might be.
Also, tell us what version of WP eStore plugin you are using.

MemberThank you wzp,
I have resolved the problem.
The file extension was in lower-case. After changing it to upper-case, the file downloaded correctly.
Thank you for your assistance.
Regards

MemberI am recieving the same error message when I try to download a zip file containing all the tracks on an audio recording. File size is 105 MB. Site is hosted by Godaddy with their delux Linux C Panel. I’m using WP eStore V7.3.9. I activated the debugging feature… here’s a copy of the log file…
[deleted debug after checking it]

ModeratorI noticed your file name contains a mixture of upper and lower case characters. Please ensure the actual file name, stored on your server, and the file name specified in the product database, are using the **EXACT** same combination of upper and lower case letters.
