We are using WP eStore to run the webstore on our site (www.wpspandc.com.au) and using PayPal as our payment gateway. We are using Xero for our accounting system.
Although we are able to import a feed of sales activity from PayPal into Xero, it comes in at the total shopping cart level. So, if a customer buys multiple products, and we want to assign the revenue to different accounts in our Xero accounting system, our accountant has to log into PayPal to see the item level information, including the product IDs of the purchased items, so she can allocate the transaction correctly.
Do you have any plans to offer a feed from WP eStore that can be imported into a system liek Xero, to create invoices that will then be able to be matched with the data coming in from PayPal?
Hi, We don’t have any plan to do a Xero accounting platform integration at this stage. If we get a lot of requests from our customers then we will look into implementing an addon for it. More details on this here:
