Encrypted Download Link Shortcode

Question:

I need a shortcode that only produces the encrypted link, not the whole Product Name – hyperlink. I’ve followed the instructions here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-instant-digital-product-delivery-499 and it works beautifully, but those shortcodes give the product name and then a link. I just need the url.

Reason: I’m using a plugin that allows the buyer to send the file directly to their Kindle. Since I’m selling ebooks, it would be super cool to give them that option. I need the encrypted download url for this…

You mean it downloads the ebook directly into their Kindle? Which plugin is this?

What you might try doing, is use eStore’s APR feature to create Kindle Loader friendly launch pages.

Then, you setup the Product URI for your ebooks, pointing to the APR protected pages. When the Thank You page appears, they click on the product link, that takes them to an APR protected page, that is compatible with the Kindle Loader. This way, you can use the Kindle Loader buttons, et al.
