Tagged: emember login widget
Issue: I can get the eMember Login Widget to appear on every page except for the ‘Courses’ page.
WP version: 4.7.2
Template: twentytwelve-child
Additional Plugin Used: Widget Visibility v 1.3.1
Goal: to have the ‘Courses’ page as my home page and have the eMember Login widget displayed in the sidebar
Remedy tried: I put a ‘Text’ Widget in the Sidebar and added the Login shortcode, didn’t work.
I am only asking for help because it does show up on all the other pages except for this one.
Our plugin doesn’t show widget based on which page the shortcode is on. It will show the widget as long as your theme or other plugin is not blocking it.
Are you able to see other shortcode working correctly in a widget on that courses page?
For example: If you just add a text widget and enter some text like the following, does your theme show that on the front-end of the courses page?
This is just a test message to see if it shows up correctly
If I didnt select where to show it and just left that plugin blank it shows up.
thank you for you help.
That should prove to you that emember plugin isn’t preventing the widget from showing.
