For some reason, emember does not want to send an activation link? after woo commerece payment. Any help would be great.
Thanks,

October 20, 2016 at 7:48 pm #74436wzpModeratorDid you properly integrate WooCommerce with eMember?
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/woocommerce-wp-emember-integration-1013
Which option are you using?
Do you have the debug option enabled in eMember? If not, please enable the debug option then do a test transaction and share the debug log file’s content.
October 21, 2016 at 1:41 pm #74437hammerMemberYes, I installed the Woocommerce integration and followed the directions on the link you provided.
I am using the first option, but when I used the second option that didn’t work either.
Im not sure where to find the debug option. I read other posts about the debug and tried following the directions and wasn’t able to find it on my end. Any help with this debug to try and fix this would be great.
Thanks
October 22, 2016 at 12:01 am #74438adminKeymasterYou go to the eMember settings menu then scroll down to the “Testing and Debugging Settings” section.
Check the Enable Debug option and save it. Then do a test transaction.
Share a link to your membership payment page (where you have the buy button). I will be able to check everything after that.
October 24, 2016 at 2:58 pm #74439hammerMemberI did as you said and checked the debug box under settings on WP Emember. I then bought a membership and I still didn’t get an email registration link in my email. It just keeps saying login to your member profile to view details. But they never gave me a login UN or PW.
Here is a link to the membership page:

I clicked on jump recordings membership and put through all my information. The charge in the shopping cart was successful and my payment is successful. I just don’t receive an email to register or create a login UN and PW.
Thanks
October 24, 2016 at 3:12 pm #74440wzpModerator- We asked you to enable the debug logging. Please post the content of the ipn_handle_debug_eMember.log file.
- Does eMember create a membership ID in the database?
- If you go to the Admin Functions menu; are you able to manually send a registration email?
October 25, 2016 at 12:31 am #74441adminKeymasterLooks like you are doing the transaction using the details of a user that ALREADY has an account on the site. When this happens the plugin will simply apply the purchased membership level to that existing account. No new registration is needed so no registration email will be sent.
See the following debug which tells you what exactly happened when you did the transaction using the “kelly@windycitywebdesigns.com” email address:
[10/24/2016 2:51 PM] – SUCCESS :Membership Level ID (3) is present in this product. Processing membership account related tasks…
[10/24/2016 2:51 PM] – SUCCESS :There is an existing WP User entry for email address (kelly@windycitywebdesigns.com). WP User ID (1). Importing this existing WP user record into eMember.
[10/24/2016 2:51 PM] – SUCCESS :There is an eMember entry for this user. Applying new level to eMember ID: 3
If you want to test how your visitors will see the registration email, make sure to do an anonymous checkout/transaction using an email that doesn’t already have a WP User account on your site.
Does that make sense?
October 25, 2016 at 6:39 pm #74442hammerMemberYes I understand!
Thank you for your help, it worked!
