I have seen your 2 scenario signup process methods and I have a different method in mind. I dont want my members to singup for a free and then upgrade (seems like too many steps) and collecting user info after signup is a little misleading to the usual process for subscriptions.
In my scenario a member will vistin the join-us page which has the various membership levels on it. They choose the level and are directed to a form which collects their data and then sends it to Paypal while they check out. Once they have made a successful transaction for the membership level Paypal will send the site a completion post with transaction data and user data. The site then processes the data and creates the account based on the data received. Once the account has been created the user is sent an email informing them the account is ready for use. All they would need to do is generate a password once following the link within the email.
How can I implement this method using your plugin? I am pretty savvy with PHP just not as much with your plugin nor where to start with this.
