emember – with Sensei emember blocks 'free lesson' without membership

On our site we will close only subscriptions. I used emember to do that.

With the use of Sensei we build courses. Sensei offers the functionality that 1 or several lessons from a course can be followed without purchasing the course. We don’t sell individual courses but only memberships. Problem was that the free lesson could not be viewed.

After deactivating all plugins and activate them one by one it appeared that WP eMember was the cause of the conflict.

First I thought it had something to do with Sensei. After we found out what caused the problem I found my way to you. At Sensei they hope there is something you can do. They are willing to cooperate in any way. Quote from their mail:

“You can also let WPMember know that if we need to maybe tweak some code in our plugin they can let us know on our Github repository and our developers will be happy to work with them to get both plugins working together..”

eMember just applies protection to posts and pages according to your setup. Lets try to understand your setup a little better.

Are you protecting the posts/pages that offer the free course? Do you have separate posts/pages where you offer this free courses?
