Hi there,
I am almost done configuring my membership site using the eMember plugin.
I have been using All In One WP Security & Firewall plugin in my other non member blogs effectively for some time now.
I am planning to add All In One WP Security & Firewall to my membership site also.
So, before that I just wanted to ask and confirm once that – Can I use All In One WP Security & Firewall without any worry of conflicts with the eMember plugin and its functionality – Cause I think that All In One WP Security & Firewall will make some changes in the configuration of htasccess files and some other files too (I have mostly used the Basic Configurations of Security in my other blogs while using All In One WP Security & Firewall). Will the changes made by All In One WP Security & Firewall affect the functionality of eMember Plugin. I am also using W3 Total cache.
There are no conflicts. All In One manages security at Layers 4, 5 and 6, of the OSI Model; whereas eMember manages security at the Application (Layer 7) level.
The only possible area of conflict, involving .htaccess files involves the eMember Download Folder Protection feature:
Under normal conditions; there should be no conflicts. However, if you go overboard on the All In One settings; conflicts may arise. But we can cross that bridge, when you come to it.
Thank you for the views.
