Hi, I’m requiring users to login or create an account before they can make a purchase. I’m integrating eMember and eStore as illustrated in example 3.1 of your typical registration flow demo.

During testing, more than one user said they got confused by receiving a “Complete Your Registration” email–the one that contains the link to complete the registration process. It seems that this email wouldn’t be necessary if registration and login are completed automatically on the site itself. Is there a way to prevent this email from being sent?

The flow can be viewed at [http://painepublishing.com/measurement-101-course-in-a-box]

I’m working with the most recent version of eMember and eStore on WordPress 3.9.2.

Thanks for your help with this.

In registration scenario 3.1 (see reference below), your users will never receive the “complete your registration email”:

Have you done a test yourself to check how it behaves? Also, do you have the debug option enabled in the estore plugin?

Hi, Thanks for your response. You are correct–they didn’t receive the actual “complete your registration” email. Someone had put that into the subject line for the “thanks for signing up” email, which I hadn’t realized. Should have checked that more thoroughly first by actually reading the email instead of just looking at the subject line. Sorry for the confusion.

    No problem.
