Hi,
The first thing you should verify is whether you have inadvertently set the membership level to expire after a few days. Go to the “Membership Level” menu and edit the membership level and check the “Subscription Duration” field.
did that…it’s not it!
any more ideas?
That doesn’t make sense. Do you have any auto upgrade setup? Check under the “Members -> Auto upgrade” menu.
If that’s not it then enable debug from eMember’s settings menu and wait for this to happen again and then share the content of the debug file which will tell us what is going on.
all right i have enabled debug!
and just to make shure i incloded 2 screenshots from the members area
showing that there is no auto upgrade or expired levels.

this thing is really annoing for my members – how soon can we fix this
using the debug?
I’m having the same issue. I thought it was because perhaps the plugin needed upgrading. I did that but it’s still happening.
The club is quite large and it doesn’t look good when people are messaging in a public forum saying they can’t access because it’s not recognising their username and password.. I’ve checked everything but not sure what to do now.
It works again once they’ve done a re-set (for a while anyway)
Rather than saying “me too!,” please describe specifically the problem that is happening on your site. And did you specifically check for the things previously mentioned in this thread?
