New users cannot register their accounts. Username field stuck on “validating”.
The following error appears in the console immediately after filling in the username field:

September 9, 2018 at 3:57 pm #78500evanoMemberI removed the SSL certificate and was then able to complete the user registration. I am re-enabling SSL now to see if the issue becomes present again. I will post an update shortly.
September 9, 2018 at 4:05 pm #78501evanoMemberAfter installing a new SSL Certificate the username validation no longer works again. Please advise.
September 10, 2018 at 10:59 am #78502adminKeymasterLet me inspect the error on your site. Can you please share a link to the registration page in question?
September 13, 2018 at 1:23 am #78503evanoMemberHere is a link to complete registration using one of my own email accounts.

Thanks for looking into this.
September 13, 2018 at 7:38 am #78504adminKeymasterLooks like it is getting an error 500 (Internal Server Error) when it tries to validate the username.
Can you please request your hosting provider to look at the server’s error log and tell you what the actual error is? We need to see why it is triggering the error 500.

September 14, 2018 at 2:17 am #78505evanoMemberThey are of little help. I have all the server logs. Can you give me an idea of what I’m looking for?
September 14, 2018 at 8:53 am #78506adminKeymasterI will need to log into your site to check it. I have sent you an email for it.
