Hello, When a new user purchases a paid membership, they are not getting the activation email and yet are completing the form. Usernames are not being created automatically and customers are now requesting a refund thinking the site does not work. Admins need to manually create usernames which gets cumbersome. However this is an intermittent problem as it happens once in every 4 to 6 times and I am wondering if it’s related to isolated incidents with our server. In the screenshot: [http://cookinghealthylessons.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/screenshot-usernames.jpg] you’ll see the usernames with an underscore were manually created but the circle indicates a missing username yet the customer below was able to create their username as educator97. Emails were blocked for privacy
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Scott
Thanks,
Hi, Usernames are never auto generated. Your users get a chance to choose their own username and password. I don’t think you have read the following documentation:

Go over the steps from the above page and let me know which step is not happening.
From what you explained, it sounds like there is an email issue on your server (which is why some of the members are not receiving the email and couldn’t complete the registration).
The following post will help you sort out the email issue:
