I am importing 250 members info my new site using eMember. I don’t want them to receive any welcome emails or complete your registration emails when I do this because they have been a member of my site previously.
I couldn’t find anywhere in the settings that addressed this but I want to be certain of it before I upload. Can you please verify it for me?
Also wondering if the plugin will email the members whose membership has expired if I have that option selected in the settings?
We have an addon that will let you bulk import members:

Once they have been imported, they are considered members and will not receive any welcome messages.
Once they are considered members, they will also receive the usual messages.
However, if they have recurring subscriptions, from the old system, they must transition to new subscriptions under eMember. This is a PayPal, et al, limitation.
When you say, “However, if they have recurring subscriptions, from the old system, they must transition to new subscriptions under eMember,” I assume you mean we have to cancel the old PayPal subscriptions. Is this correct? If so, when we do a bulk member load, does WP eMember send a message to PayPal to set up the new subscription?
No. It’s a PayPal “security thing.” You have to figure out a reasonable migration process.
Thanks for the information!
