How would I go about updating the recaptcha on the registration form to Google recaptcha v2, the No-Captcha-Recaptcha “I’m not a robot” form? I’m in the recaptchalib.php file but I don’t even know where to begin. I have the Google documentation open but I can’t make heads or tales of it. Has anyone had any success upgrading?
Its not something you should be doing yourself.
If you want a simple captcha, use the following option:
Do you have plans to support Google reCaptcha v2 knowing that the old one (currently used by eMember) is been compromised and proven not to prevent the spam activity? Using the simple one, as indicated above, is not what users would like to do but rather use the more robust one to protect their websites from spammers
Yes, eventually we will move to using the new version. We always wait a little before implementing new stuff. This allows that solution to be a little more mature by the time we implement it.
