Hi guys,
I am looking for a tutorial (PDF or video – free or paid) where I can see
how to do a membership site STEP by STEP from scratch.
Example:
step 1: do this
step 2: do that
Because I am a newbie and when I watch the vidéos on the emember
site I don’t know where to begin and what is the step by step
process ?
Best Regards,
Phil
PS: Sorry for my bad english !!!
May 7, 2015 at 12:30 am #69908adminKeymasterThere is not just ONE type of membership site. Different people have different needs and setup the membership site differently. Can you explain a little more on what you want to do with your site?
Have you at least watched the following videos and understand the basic functionality of the plugin?
May 7, 2015 at 10:13 am #69909auvrayphilMemberHi,
Yes I have watched these videos but I don’t know if I need to follow them to create my basic membership site (video 1, then video2, etc…. in this order ?)
I need a basic membership site (for the first one).
I have a members page where they can download all my PDF and vidéos.
I jsy want to protect this page.
I have tried your plugin to a test blog and after the purchase if the customer
complete the login form the plugin does not redirect to the member page but to
a page where I can read “you are logged as…. your membership level is….”.
However, I have add the “after login url” in “settings” > “page.forms setting”
AND in “edit membsership level”.
I don’t know where I have made the mistake.
Thanks for your help.
Best Regards,
Phil
May 8, 2015 at 1:16 am #69910adminKeymasterIt looks like you are having an issue with the after login redirection so lets address that.
I am pretty sure you haven’t enabled the after login redirection feature. Go to the settings menu of the plugin and enable the “Enable After login Redirection” option.
May 8, 2015 at 8:42 am #69911auvrayphilMemberHi,
You are right !!!!!!!!!!
I did not see this option. but I can tell you that your plugin has nothing to envy wishlist at a much better price.
And I love the option where I can chosse the language (I am french).
Is it possible to translate the plugin admin interface ?
Thank you very much for your help, you’re a great guy !
Best regards from Normandy,
Phil
PS: Sorry for my english (college level) !!!
May 8, 2015 at 10:54 pm #69912adminKeymasterGlad to hear that. At the moment we don’t have an option to translate the admin side for this plugin.
May 9, 2015 at 3:00 pm #69913auvrayphilMemberHi,
It’s a shame ! In France many people do not speak English like me. And if I could translate the admin of your plugin I would promote it as an affiliate if you have an affiliate program.
Long live to wp-emember.
Have a good day,
Phil
