I updated my site in WP Time Capsule Staging with Divi theme. I could not update the eMember pages while in “staging” because every time I tried to look at a protected page, I got an error message that I didn’t have access to it. This wasn’t such a problem because the only page I really wanted to change was the home page which is NOT in eMember.
When I made the “staging” LIVE, all the links included the “staging/staging” in the URLs.
I have removed all the “staging/staging” from the URLs.
HOWEVER, the eMember “ShortCodes” are no longer working properly. When I removed “staging/staging” from the links in the eMember settings, the change did not populate to the shortcode – how can this even be?
I deactivated eMember and deleted it, then added it again as a plugin – TWICE. Still not working.
My question: How do I change the URLs in the shortcode if it isn’t taking the info from “settings”? Please help!

The plugin can’t make up a URL. It has to be getting it from somewhere so look at all the different menus and tabs of the plugin. Also, edit any page that contains a shortcode and has a URL in the shortcode. Update the URL there too.
Let me know how you go.
July 5, 2018 at 8:04 pm #78076KateSpectatorHi Admin,
Thank you for your quick response! I went through the settings fields in the “General Settings” and “Pages/Forms Settings” a few dozen times. In the “set up” instructions, the redirect page set up in the “Membership Level” section was not mentioned. That’s where the problem was.
Now I have another problem. When I’m logged in as a user and I click on the “Support Page” and “Edit Profile” page I get an error code:
You do not have permission to view this content.
Suggestions?

Do those pages have membership levels properly set?
July 6, 2018 at 2:39 pm #78078KateSpectatorHi WZP, yes, they are properly set.
July 6, 2018 at 2:46 pm #78079KateSpectatorHi WZP,
After further review – they WERE properly set before updating from the WP Time Capsule Staging. All access was deleted in the move. I’ve now corrected it. Thank you for your help!
Blessings,
Kate
