Tagged: members, membership level, redirect shortcode
I have multiple levels and there is a set of posts that ALL levels can see, and certain pages that only their level can see. For example, ‘Rock’ can only see the page called ‘Rock’ but they can also access Post A, B, C.
‘Top 40’ can only access the Top 40 page, but also can access Post A, B, C.
So, I have the redirect code set going to ‘Rock’ or ‘Top 40’ when they login, which is great. But then if they click to Post A, B etc – they are taken away from the ‘Rock’ or ‘Top 40’ Page – is there a shortcode in the client logged in widget box where I can redirect them back to their memebership main page? So, for each membership, i want them to have an easy link to ‘their level redirect page’.
I hope that makes sense? Thanks in advance.
Would this work for you? Place someplace on the page or sidebar (using a text widget)…
[emember_protected for=1]
Return link for Rock main page index goes here...
[/emember_protected]
[emember_protected for=3]
Return link for Paper main page index goes here...
[/emember_protected]
[emember_protected for=5]
Return link for Scissors main page index goes here...
[/emember_protected]
You can also use the shortcodes mentioned in the following posts to show the user’s home age:
If you add the shortcodes in a sidebar text widget, it will be visible to them regardless of which page they are on.
