eMember – Sending automatic upgrade emails even though box is not checked

eMember is sending automatic upgrade emails despite the “Enable Automatic Upgrade Email Notification” in the “Auto Upgrade” section not being checked. This is very annoying to my clients. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

It definitely shouldn’t do that. You are 100% sure that the following field in eMember settings is turned off?

Enable Auto Expiry Email Notification

What happens if you go to the settings and save the settings one more time (with that field unchecked)?

Do you have the debug option enabled by any chance?

The “Enable Auto Expiry Email Notification” field is turned off and always has been. I enabled the debug option and saved.

I won’t know until Sunday the 8th whether this helped, since the course members are auto-upgraded on Sundays.
