eMember – secure downloads are coming up as "Page not found"

I built the site on a development server, and the downloads were working perfectly. It’s now been moved to another server and is live, but when you click on a download link, it brings up a 404 error page.

The downloads folder has been uploaded to the new server and settings have been checked. It’s an Apache server, and the .htaccess and .htpasswd files have been created.

The directives in the .htaccess file is likely incorrect (because some of the directives used in that file are server specific so changing the server could make those fail). It is best to refresh that by disabling that feature, then delete the .htaccess and .htpasswd files. Re-activate the feature.

There are a range of issues on this site that is preventing our plugin from working the way it normally does. When I can log into your site, I will investigate this one also.
