Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › eMember – Section Protection causes nested shortcodes to break
All of my pages are working well until I add section protection.
By adding the following:
[emember_protected for=1]
[my-other-shortcode]
[/emember_protected]
All I get on my page now is:
[my-other-shortcode]
Before adding the section protection those shortcodes ran correctly.
I have already checked
and
eMember – Shortcode Inside Another Shortcode (Shortcode Nesting) Not Filtering
The solutions did not work.
This is a make or break. Without the ability to use shortcodes within the emember protection, I cant use the software at all.
eMember’s shortcodes are implemented using the proper WordPress shortcode API. So shortcode nesting should work fine. The only time it won’t work is when this other software didn’t implement the shortcodes using proper WordPress’s shortcode API. When that happens there is nothing we can do on our end.
