eMember – require manual approval for next membership level upgrade

I’ve found this recently however I’m wondering if there is a way to have this done a bit differently

what I’d like to happen is for the member to click the button and have myself sent an email regarding their request to beome an upgraded member… I can then go and manually approve them.

Well, since this is essentially a manual process; what do you envision happening, to their current membership level, while the upgrade is pending approval?

Two ideas come to mind that you can use to handle this …

1) Member pushes an eStore button that goes to the manual gateway. The user checks out and you will have an email waiting for you.

or

2) Member fills out a contact form expressing their interest. You can then change their level in the admin.

number 2 where the member hit’s the button and we decide.. however it may be easier to just have this automated.. I’ll talk to the business owner
