Tagged: Reporting page access
Hi,
I’m looking to create a subscription site where suppliers of content are paid on unique views…. Does eMember record accesses to specific pages by members?
If I needed to report on members that have visited a specific page, how would I go about doing that?
Regards
You may be going about it the wrong way. The best way to measure how many times a post or page has been viewed is to use a Stats tracking program on your site. Google analytics is well known for this.
Create a free Google analytics account if you don’t have one already:
http://www.google.com/analytics/
Then add a free Google analytics WordPress plugin to your site and you will be able to find out all the information regarding how many unique views each of your post or page is getting.
Thanks for the quick reply….
Will Google Analytics allow me to determine whether or not a media link was clicked?
Members may visit a page without viewing the video! Payment will be based on whether the embedded video is viewed or not.
You can basically track any action you want on a page.
Here are just a few examples:
Link click
Button click
Image click
Page click
