Tagged: Edit Profile, Login page, login widget, sidebar widget
Hi folks,
I have the most updated version of eMember and I can’t figure out how to remove the “Edit Profile” link from the widget. I’ve searched the forum and tried several different solutions, but I think the versions might be different and thus I haven’t been able to solve the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Go to the following settings menu:
eMember Settings -> Pages/Forms Settings
Now remove the URL value from the “Member Profile Edit Page” field. When there is no value in that field, it won’t show the edit profile link in the login widget.
Hi there,
I did remove the link from that section, however the link still appears. Any other changes I can make?
It definitely shouldn’t do that. I tested it myself just now and it works fine.
There are a few fields in that page. Are you sure you have made the “Member Profile Edit Page” field empty?
Can you share a link to your login page and a test member credential so I can do a test?
Yes, it is empty. Is there a way to PM you this info or email it? I don’t want to leave it on the forum.
@dan11798, You can use the contact form to send the information via email:
