I have disabled free membership. Members are initially directed to a Subscribe/Join Us page to select their single or bulk membership. There is nothing on this page to begin the registration process.
They are then directed to PayPal for payment (we will be changing this to PayPal Pro in the near future) — I have had to temporarily disable it and have lost the page the user completed with their information.
The user is then sent an email to complete their registration. I cannot find a short code for the registration page that I need to modify — i.e.
First Name Last Name
Address
City, State, Zip
Phone
Email
Company Details
Company Address
Company City, State, Zip
Company Contact Name:
Contact Phone
Contact email
The only short code for registration refers to the “free” and that it is disabled.
Our free content will not require registration, therefore, we do not need this code.
Do you have a registration form shortcode for a standard registration form? None of the shortcodes in your list appear to be what I need.
And once the registration is completed then they need the link to complete the registration so they can set their ID/Password, so these two pages need to work together. Is this possible? I know next to nothing about php — If you can tell me what to do and where to do it, I can manage that, but I have no idea what and where these fields will need to be added to make it work on the registration / complete registration pages.
Is there a “complete registration” shortcode? I’ve also checked the estore trying to find an answer to this w/o success.
Basically, I need them to complete their information for registration on the checkout page, then let them pay and then an email to them to complete the process.

Are you using a plain paypal button or eStore to sell your membership?
If you are using plain paypal button then you need to set it up as per:
If you are using eStore then you should do what is exlpained on this page:
I cannot find a short code for the registration page that I need to modify
You do not need to modify the shortcode.
At the time of activation the eMember plugin will create the registration page which will have a single shortcode ([wp_eMember_registration]) to cater for all registration types, ie, free or paid.
To modify your form, you simply need to set the relevant fields in the Pages/Form Settings menu in the section called “Registration Form Fields”.
Even if you’ve disabled free registration, the plugin will automatically know which paid membership level people are trying to register for.
Your scenario sounds very similar to “Member Signup Scenario 1”. See the video here:
