eMember – registration form sent out yet unique registration not valid

A unique customer made a payment and was sent a Complete your registration email with link to registration page inside.

Once the email was clicked the registration page showed an red letter error, stating: Error! The unique registration code you used in the URL has already been used or is invalid.

This is a unique client so what happened?

You will get that error if someone has used that link already and is trying to use it again. Did you check in the back-end to see if he/she has already completed the registration? The user can log into the site if there is a value in the “username” column for his/her member record.
