When a new member clicks the email link to finish his registration it sends him to [http://www.troymedia.com/join-us/registration/] rather than the page to finish his registration.
Can’t figure out how to fix this and get it to go to the right page.
May 17, 2013 at 11:21 pm #55688adminKeymasterThis usually means a configuration issue in the pages/forms settings menu. Can you please verify that you have seen the video tutorials from the following page?
I think you are using WP eStore plugin to create the premium membership payment. Please tell me if you have done all the steps outlined here:
After a user makes a payment for membership, they are suppose to get a unique registration completion link that should look like the following:
[your-domain.com/registration-page/?member_id=X&code=123XYZ]
Is that happening in your case?
Have you edited the “Email Settings” option in the eMember plugin and accidentally removed the “{reg_link}” email tag from the email body field?
Update: I just did a test registration and I got the following link which is correct:
But when I go to that URL, your website is stripping all the special code from the URL so the membership plugin is failing to process the request. You most likely have a security or a firewall plugin which is doing this stripping. Please do this test to find out which plugin is doing this:

June 22, 2013 at 8:27 pm #55689Troy MediaSpectatorI have viewed all of the videos and implemented the plugin step by step
I did a theme test (and asked the developers to check also) and no problems.
I disabled all the plugins except eMember of course and sent a complete registration link again. Still the same problem.
Any other suggestions?
The plugins we have on the site are:
Jetpack Lite
OIOpublisher Ad Manager 2.55
Organize Series
Reveal IDs
Search & Replace
WordPress Database Backup
WP-Optimize

June 23, 2013 at 12:48 am #55690adminKeymasterOkay I will take a look at your site to see what else could be affecting the special registration links. I sent you an email to get access to the site.
June 25, 2013 at 6:44 am #55691adminKeymasterTurned out that you have a plugin called “404 Redirected” enabled Network wide which was automatically redirecting those URLs and causing that issue.
I turned off that plugin and now the unique registration link works correctly. So I think when you did your plugin test you didn’t turn off the plugin that are activated network wide in your WP Multi-site install.
