I manage a website for a society which has membership. The membership is based on property ownership in a community. There are two member types, land owners, and relatives. On important issues land owners vote, on community preferences, everyone can vote.
I would like to get member only feedback and polls, and I would like to be able to sort the results by member type. Example member type 1 has more input than member type 2. So more weight goes to the opinion of member type 1.
I presume to have member only polls I would place the poll in a post for members only, but how do I define which member type is answering?
Has anyone else encountered this before?
You create two polls using the a polling plugin or software. Then put them on two difference pages. Now protect the pages accordingly so one member type can see one page and not the other.
You can also embed both the polls in one page but protect them using section protection so only one type of members can see one poll only. Here is the documentation on section protection:
