After following the instructions at this url https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-use-public-profile-listing-276, I go to the page I created for the public profile listing, and find the table header with js controls, but no members listed. I believe the shortcode is “working” – at least the function is trying to execute, but no records are being displayed. There are currently 5 active members registered in my eMember test site.
I did find one forum post that made the same complaint, but no solution was offered there.
Any hints on how to troubleshoot this? I can see in public_user_directory.php where the variable “count” gets set to 5 during execution, which seems to indicate the 5 member records are being found, but I’d like to rule out any system settings, or profile settings I may have overlooked before digging further into the code.
You should be able to view my test profile listing page at the following url:

Thanks muchly!

It happens to have a different browser. And behold, members! So it appears to be a browser specific issue of some kind. Chrome displays it just fine, but Firefox (running on my linux box) does not.
December 9, 2014 at 1:51 am #67292adminKeymasterI just checked your page using my FireFox browser and it works fine for me. Maybe your browser needs an update?
You should use the following option instead of the one you are currently using (this option is more robust):

Probably just something on my test machine, then, but I did check the version, and it’s current. I’ll install a couple of other browsers on my test machine and see if they exhibit the same behavior.
What option do you mean, the extended add-on? (Your link goes back to the same page I originally set this up from.)
Thanks!
