Hi,
I’m working on my website using your plugins (eMember, eStore…and many others).
What I want is to define custom fields to be shown in the member profile page (no problem to this point). However, these profile pages should be different based on the membership level.
For example:
– Free membership level profile page shows the Standard fields only.
– Silver Level: Shows Standard fields + other different custom fields
– Gold Level: Standard Fields + Others different than Free and Silver
So members profile pages are different based on their levels. Please let me know if there is any way to do that.
May 27, 2014 at 1:12 pm #63314wzpModeratorI do not believe it’s possible to have the profile page display level dependent information; @admin needs to confirm if that is still true.
You *might* be able to do something similar to what sites like AdultFriendFinder do; which is to have links on the “common” profile page, that point to level protected “extension” pages.
May 27, 2014 at 1:15 pm #63315btatiMemberThanks for the prompt response.
Can this (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-form-builder-addon-extension-760) do the job? Is there any documentations on how to use this add on.
May 27, 2014 at 1:16 pm #63316wzpModeratorThere is a documentation link in that article.
May 27, 2014 at 1:24 pm #63317btatiMember1-If you are referring to this (form fields customization documentation – http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-customize-which-fields-appear-in-the-registration-and-edit-profile-page-221 ), this is not its documentation. If you refer to something else, please provide the link here (I could not find).
2- Can this add-on solve my problem?
May 27, 2014 at 3:08 pm #63318KellyliseMemberA possible work-around: what about BuddyPress (or equivalent) as the structure for your membership profiles?
By putting different membership levels in different “groups,” you can structure the profiles differently.
May 27, 2014 at 3:44 pm #63319btatiMemberThanks Kellylise for your reply, help and nice idea. Currently, I’m looking if the plugin and/or its add-on can fix it. Waiting Admin reply as I think there is an add-on can do this. If that true, then that will save lots of work.
It seems that “WP eMember Form Builder Add-on (Extension)” do what I want. But I cannot try it as it is not free, anymore. As it costs 30$, it should have good features, should not it?
Thank you again.

May 28, 2014 at 4:32 am #63321adminKeymasterIf you need to configure custom fields based on user’s membership level then you will need the form builder addon:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-form-builder-addon-extension-760
To list members profiles, use the profile extended addon:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-profile-display-extended-addon-599
May 28, 2014 at 9:01 am #63322btatiMemberThanks Admin. I need to get the form builder. I sent some questions to Mr. Ivy, including how to purchase it and awaiting his reply!
