I have found quite a few posts that discuss how to enable the upload of profile images, etc.., and I have found a mention (as an example of the reason for profile pic uploads) “You can list all your members so others can browse (if you are creating a social networking type site).”

I have added profile images to the members (I have verified this). I have the member profile extended plugin activated.

    Questions:

    1. How do I create a profile gallery style page (“You can list all your members so others can browse (if you are creating a social networking type site).”)?

    2. When clicking on the details of a member I am not seeing the image, just the default placeholder. How do I get the profile images to show on the member profile page?

    3. On the member list page, the primary membership level is displayed. Is there a way to add filters that respect the additional membership levels? Eg: I have a member who is a member of the choir (primary mem level), she is also an alto (additional mem level).

It basically lists all the members (according to what you specify in the shortcode). Then another user can browse through the list and click on the details link to see the full details of a user:

There is no gallery so I am not sure about that.

If there is a profile image, it will get shown (given it is specified in the shortcode). Lets check if the member’s profile in question has a profile image set. Explain the steps I should take on your site to see the issue.

I am happy to send you credentials so that you can see the issue. How do I send those to you in a private manner? Or I can send screenshots if you prefer. Again, just need to know where to send to.
