    Using eMember v9.1.0

I was able to upload a profile image for myself.

I was able to successfully use the bulk import function to import members after I had the plugin configured the way I wanted it.

Now, when I go to Add/Edit Member, Profile Image, Upload a File, I can’t upload images.

When a file is selected, it starts to process then gives a message “xxx.jpg 48.4kB Failed”.

I am getting no other error messages – just that it failed.

I have searched the forums, but have found no answers as to why this function just broke.

There were only a few plugins I installed after eMember. I deactivated them, and tried again, with no luck.

I was able to get around this by adding image files and updating members manually in the database, but this is not a good long term solution.

And, I’m really curious as to why this might be happening.

    Thank you

Usually it happens if there is a plugin conflict. Can you please do the following test to see if there is a conflict?

Theme test – I’m using the default Twenty Fourteen theme. I did install the Fourteen Colors plug-in, but have checked it using the Plug-in test, as below.

I had no problem uploading my own profile picture.

Then I did a bulk upload using the eMember Member Bulk Import plugin.

Sometime later, I installed a few additional plugins. I have gone through all of them that may not have already been installed when I uploaded my own photo, even the eMember add-ons, and deactivated them one at a time and tried to upload a photo again. None made any difference.

I go to Manage Members, and select one to edit. Click on “Upload a file” for Profile Image. An explorer window opens up to allow me to select a jpg file. Click on open. Instead of the photo showing, it’s still the grayed out icon with the “Upload a file” button. Just below that, I see text like: nopix.jpg 3.3kB Failed

On the Pages/Forms Settings page for eMember, “Enable Profile Thumbnail Image” is checked.

On the General Settings page, “Use Profile Image in WordPress Comment Avatar” is checked, but my profile image in eMember does not show up in my WordPress user profile.

“Use Gravatar Image in Profile” is not checked.

I will jump on your site and take a look. I have sent you an email for it.
