eMember-profile-extended-addon – Social media Links in extended profile?

eMember Profile Extended: 2.0

I was wondering if you could add a custom field that you could set an icon to link too, so you could let members put their social media links in? I think that would be the easiest way to put this functionality in.

That way you could upload a facebook/linkedin/twitter icon, so when they goto the edit profile screen they will have a field to put a url to a link for the specified icon. Maybe you could do it as a drop down or selection of social media icons. Then if that field is filled out it would display the icon on the detailed profile.

Adding something like this to the core plugin would require a lot of interest from the users. What we can do is, add a feature to handle what you are after in our form builder addon (This addon has the architecture to handle complex custom fields):
