eMember – Paypal payments not immediately propogating

I have Paypal buttons set up to handle our subscriptions from eMember. However, one issue I have run into is when a new user pays via Paypal, the corresponding membership level is not immediately updated on my site. I noticed it takes about 24 hours to propagate, so usually when I check the next day the user has the membership level checked in their eMember account. Is there a way to speed up this process? Ideally, I’d like it if a user signs up and pays, they have immediate access.

If the IPN debug logs are enabled, do they show the payment as being immediately cleared by PayPal?

The plugin does not have any delay mechanism. It processes the payment as soon as it receives the payment notification from PayPal. So given your PayPal account does not have any issue, the payment should clear instantly.

Enable the debug option in the plugin so you can see if the payment is clearing instantly in your PayPal account.
