We have been running WP eMember on our site (www.centralfloridaagnews.com) since before we took it live. The problem we’ve come across recently is finding a means for a user to change their own password. We were able to get the your-profile linked properly (it originally linked to WordPress account info), but now we’re noticing a couple of problems.
The biggest of these problems is, when we try to change the password on the your-profile page, we get a WordPress error, stating “Are you sure you want to do this?” with no means to click through.
Additionally, while working in other browsers to see if this was a browser-specific issue, I found that I could not access the WP eMember your-profile page unless I was also logged into my WordPress account.
Lastly, on the Registration and Your Profile pages, the input boxes on the right of the screen do not line up with the labels on the left.
Can you offer any guidance? We’ve lost a great deal of repeat traffic due to difficulties with the login system.

This is the normal set up for security. You never allow anyone to change or view ones profile unless they are logged in.
Lastly, on the Registration and Your Profile pages, the input boxes on the right of the screen do not line up with the labels on the left.
I had a look in one of my browsers Firefox 26.0 and it all looks good. Can you provide more information to let us know what do you mean by “the input boxes on the right of the screen do not line up with the labels on the left”
I would like to point out that you are currently using the following theme Immersion 1.4 from ThemeForest. From what I read on their website, this theme is no longer supported or it is no longer available. This can cause more problems in the future if there are more issues with your theme since it will no loger be supported. To prevent future problems, you might consider looking for an alternative theme that is supported by the developer.
Kind regards
January 3, 2014 at 11:33 pm #60097adminKeymaster@dkiessling, If you are using eMember, then all member account related actions (Changing password, updating profile etc.) should be done via eMember’s functions. So you shouldn’t see any message coming from WordPress (because you are not going to use it).
I will take a look at your site and check your setup also. I have sent you an email.
Update:
Turns out that you were using the following plugin which was causing these issues:
Theme My Login
That plugin is changing the standard WorPress login and registration behavior which you don’t need to use because eMember does that for you. Your members should always log into the site via eMemember.
