Hi, in this site:bettermarksinmaths.com.au
I have set up a $7 for 7 day paid trial, followed by subscription of $30 per month in the members area, until cancelled.
I don’t have a free trial.
A test $0.01 payment goes through PayPal successfully but there is no registration form showing or any email with a registration link being sent. So that means if someone purchases they won’t have the registration link.
Have tried the debug but can’t seem to find anything wrong there.
Not sure what to do next. Can you help with this please?January 30, 2020 at 11:56 pm #80296adminKeymaster
In the debug log, do you see if it is executing the email sending code or not?
Do you see a line that says something like “Email sent to …..”?January 31, 2020 at 1:31 am #80297
I’ve checked the debug files and there is no “email sent to….”January 31, 2020 at 1:55 am #80298
one email to me as a $0.01 test buyer is:

also the payment page is on the outside of the website and NOT in the members area as there is no free trial.January 31, 2020 at 1:42 pm #80300wzpModerator
…also the payment page is on the outside of the website
But is that page part of the same WP installation instance as the membership site???February 1, 2020 at 12:04 am #80301adminKeymaster
okay so the email system is working fine since you got the emails (one from estore for the transaction and one from emember for the membership profile related update).
The following basically means that the plugin found an EXISTING member account for the transaction. So the plugin correctly applied the new purchase to that existing user profile:
Your account has been upgraded successfully
So this is a situation of bad testing. If you want to do testing of a NEW member account creation and registration then you need to create that condition accordingly (similar to what your new members will have).
For example: Make sure you don’t have any member profiles with the SAME email address that you are using to do the transaction. Delete any member profiles that you previously created in the previous test. Then you can do a NEW test. Also, make sure you are not logged into the site as a member when doing the transaction (for testing new user transaction).
Please read the following documentation which will be helpful for you:
