eMember not sending emails using paypal buy now button

No emails are being sent to the new subscribers.

What are we doing wrong?

Do users have to be logged in first? or Does the eMember go off of the Paypal Email address?

We setup a paypal button with the following custom variables:

notify_url=http://www.channeledreadings.com/CRNews/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/ipn/eMember_handle_paypal_ipn.php

custom=subsc_ref=9

This is the ID for our Yearly Membership.

Users don’t have to be logged in for new subscriptions. It will go off their PayPal email address. The debug you shared looks good.

Can you please share the content of the “ipn_handle_debug_eMember.log” debug file so I can see if the user account was created and the email got sent?

We are able to use the test email plugin to send email.

Hi, I tried to take a look at the “subscription_handle_debug.log” debug file and was surprised to see that the file is empty.

Even the ipn handle debug log file was empty too. Also, it doesn’t look like debug is enabled either. What am I missing?
