Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › eMember – not saving name from eStore
Membership product is in eStore. eStore transaction shows customer first and last names, and email address.
A new membership is created successfully in eMember, with a user name and email address.
The problem is that the first name and last name noted in eStore is not being saved to the eMember record.
I have been through the settings, troubleshooting, and forum, but can’t figure out why the names are not being saved.
Please help!
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is kept separately between eStore and any other user/membership systems. It is up to the registering member, who may not necessarily be the purchaser of the membership, to provide PII during the registration confirmation process.
I didn’t realize this was done on purpose, but I understand why.
I thought that since I was getting part of the info but not all, I had missed something in the settings.
