eMember – Membership levels not working with subscriptions

Dear Tips and Tricks,

I’m have a problem with eMember 8.6.1 on WordPress 3.5.1, MySQL 5.5.15, PHP 5.4.0

When purchasing a subscription membership level ID: 2, the subscription keeps defaulting to level ID: 16 in the user registration process. I have set the theme back to Twenty Twelve and re-installed eMember and it still does not work as planned.

Steps to reproduce problem listed below:

1. Purchase a subscription via unitednetworking.net/magazine/subscribe/

2. Receive a ‘complete your registration’ email, which links to registration page /magazine/subscribe/registration/?member_id=xyz

3. Receive the second ‘complete your registration’ email which asks for a username and

password, the membership level defaults to ‘Member’ should be ‘Make & Craft – Single Issue’.

4. Registration completes successfully, but the member level is incorrect.

Hope you can help me out with this, thank you for your help in advance.

Hi, can you please provide a valid link to your subscription product page (A “404 file or directory not found” error occurred when I tried to access this page)?

Are you directly using PayPal button or WP eStore to create your membership subscription buttons?
