I am putting this website together for a client:
I currently have 15 membership levels, which are all initially free, however once I have enough members these will become chargable. So I have a couple of questions on how to set things up.
1. I am using a direct link to membership level form using their IDs.
So when I start charging I will change to one form with drop down selection for membership as all will be the same price. Or do I need to set up separate payment buttons for each? However at this stage I want the members who have already registered to be charged the registration fee One off payment), so how do I link this to the membership levels already there?
2. After the Reg fee there is also an annual subscription to be paid of £50 per annum. My client wants the member to pay either one off payment, or 10 equal payments of £5 over ten months (I assume two moths free), or drip pay as convenient to member.
My question is how can I set these payments up and is it possible? artwebsite4testing.co.uk
Yes, you will need to create separate payment buttons for each of the membership levels. For each of your membership levels, you can create an one time payment button and a subscription payment button. Then put them on a page and add details explaining what that button does. Your registered users can also pay using the new buttons that you create.
Basically, you create a payment button for a membership level. When someone pays using that button, their account will get the corresponding level applied to it. You then put the payment button where you want to on your site and direct visitors appropriately.
