Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › eMember member export – some custom fields not exported.
(We are testing our bulk member csv imports by exporting member data using “Export All Member info” in Manage members tab and comparing with the import file.
Looking at the resulting csv file, some custom fields do not get exported, some do.
However the missing custom fields data is getting imported, when I look at individiual member data in WordPress/eMember, it just doenst seem to be included int he export.
Are their possible header format issues for the custom fields that may prevent their inclusion in the export? Or a setting elsewhere that affects what gets exported.
Any help appreciated.
Rob

Hi
This is fine but I cant expect my client to use phpmyadmin when they need to export member data to work qith, which they’ll be doing daily.
According to this post eMember should be exporting all fields including custom fields to csv:
Is this not the case?
Yes it exports the custom fields created by the core plugin. But are you using the form builder addon by any chance?
Yes we are using the form builder plugin. Is that affecting the export?
Is that affecting the export?
Yes, because those custom fields “live” in a separate database table. The export function of the main plugin only exports custom fields contained in the main membership table.
Thank you, I deactivated the Form Builder plugin and the custom fields are now included in the csv members export.
Appreciate your assistance.
