eMember – Manually Approve Multiple Free Membership levels

Hi there,

I have multiple free memberships and want to manually approve a user’s 2nd and 3rd free membership.

My site is based on events and on manual payment. The user register for a free membership and is now allowed to click a join button on dates in a calendar to indicate that he wants to join one or more of the events. I integrated a membership upgrade button in each event and when the already registered user of level 1 clicks this button and is send an email with wire payment instructions for that event. Once payment is received I want to manually activate the account.

I’ve already read how it can be done with WP eStore and the order management addon, but do I really have to purchase eStore and load another plugin onto my site to manually approve the other membership levels?

You can manually assign & activate each member’s new levels, using the Members Add/Edit panel.
