eMember – Mailchimp sign up sent prior to admin approval of new registrant

Hi,

I’m using eMember 8.5.6 with Mailchimp integration.

The problem is that I manually approve all new members. Unfortunately, the new member is signed up at Mailchimp after they click on the confirmation link – and prior to an admin approving the new member.

Is it possible to make the Mailchimp signup of a new member to not occur until AFTER the admin has approved the new member?

Hi Terry, The autoresponder signup works separately from the standard emember’s user account status. Most users just want to signup a user to their autoresponder list regardless. This is why we have it working the way it does now. What is the danger of that user being in your list?

It was just the idea of having someone undesirable in the distribution list, which is why I approve members first. Never mind. Thanks for getting back to me.
