emember login widget adding an extra hyperlink

Hi:

I want to be able to add a small hyperlink in the emember sidebar login widget when a member is logged in. Under Edit Profile, I want to add “Cancel Subscription” and link it to a cancel request URL.

This is because I find that if I allow a customer to delete account from Emember’s Edit profile page, the cancellation is not reflected in Woocommerce where I have to do it manually. So unless I have a request from the customer for cancellation, I will not know they have cancelled themselves.

I thought it best to make them request a cancellation, and then I can do it manually in emmember and woocommerce.

Is it the best way then to add a “Cancel Subscription” link in the login widget (when logged in)? If so, please help me know how to add this one line into the widget. I am using Style 1.

Use the “Support Page” option in the “Pages/Forms Settings” menu of the plugin. Whatever URL you enter in that field will be shown in the login widget (to logged-in members).

You can create this support page to explain a few things to your members and also have answers to common questions. You can have a section about cancellation in that page (Then link to a cancellation page).

Basically, use that support page option to give your members more guidance and answers to common questions that they may have.
